Audra Gullquist is a creative individual with a passion for visual storytelling. She graduated from Eastern Illinois University in May 2025, with a bachelor's in journalism. While at Eastern, Gullquist held the Assistant News Editor position at the University's student publication, the Daily Eastern News. Previously, she worked for Lake Land College's student publication, The Navigator News, as the Layout and Design Editor, before getting promoted to Editor-in-Chief. Her work at the Navigator News earned her the 2022 Award for Excellence in Illinois Community College Newspapers: First Place News Story. She also interned at the Prairie Press as a layout and design editor and reporter. Her previous positions have allowed her to gain experience in many forms of media, such as print, video, photojournalism, audio, and digital. In addition to her extensive journalistic experience, Gullquist possesses a strong work ethic and determination, making her well-suited to make a significant impact in journalism.
